After a very active week of winter weather I'm sure that we all could use a break. The good news is we will see a break from precipitation but the bad news is it will get colder especially heading into the weekend. In this blog update I'm going to discuss further what the forecast looks like in the next 7 days. Tonight Skies will remain cloudy with a low of 18 degrees. Friday Mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 20s. There will be a small breeze out the North at 12mph. T

Good Morning and Happy Friday Southern Indiana!! After yesterday's rain and sleet/snow mix for some today will be dry. It will be windy today with gusts reaching 25mph. Temperatures should reach the upper 30s for highs with a few areas making it into the low 40s. That's before cooler air arrives this weekend. By Saturday night temps will drop into the teens and Sunday's high only in the 20s. To top the cool down will be the chance for snow Saturday night into Sunday morning.

After soggy end to 2019 the sunshine came just in time to welcome the New Year. Unfortunately the sunshine won't last long as an area of low pressure will bring rain into the area for tomorrow with the potential of an inch and a half of rain possible with locally higher totals possible where heavier rain is present. After a cold and snowy start to the week. The Winter like weather is slowly winding down for now and Fall will be taking back over as we near the end of the week and advance into next week. So as we advance through the rest of this week highs will gradually rise into the upper 40s. By Sunday we will likely be back to the upper 40s. By Monday we then climb back into the 50s. Now while temperatures will be a lot more fall like during the day I think Winter still tries to stick
